I think everyone does that submits, Jackie. The wait can be trying, especially when there are issues that delay results beyond the Contest's control, as happened in Q3. It's good to remember how hard they all work at Author Services to manage TWO international contests with thousands of entrants from around the world every quarter. There have been times when Joni Labaqui has messaged me to call her, and it's past 11 pm, and she's still working in the office. When it's workshop week, many of them work long past midnight to get the daily photos sorted and the blog proofed and published. Workshop week is crazy. I worked until midnight every night myself on the blog, and I'm sure Kary did the same.
You'll get there, and you can go on the trip of a lifetime to experience it all. Keep submitting. Your semifinalist proves you are close!
