Cookie, having had enough of the cowboys' merriment, dumped his bucket over the camp fire. Steam, and wet hot ash, splattered those unfortunate enough to be sitting opposite. With a harrumph, Cookie hobbled back to his bed roll. If anyone but him, or big Joe, had done that, it would have meant fists and ropes.

*Lurk* *Lurk* *Lurk*...Oh wait, I broke my lurking because I lurked out loud. Hi, I guess Smile

Email fills daily with coupons and notifications I don't want and the only calls that come are (310) hang-ups and sales calls...still the compulsion to check remains. At least comments here are fun when I lurk for any signs of results! I am off to write on my novel for the night. May results come soon!

Lurkers - as a general rule need more exercise than the greyhound. They need a fully secure garden. Historically a poacher's dog. A good pet but inclined to chew things coming through the mail - like vouchers. Might also bark at unwanted phone-calls.

Can't have much longer to wait.

If someone submits their Q4 this coming week, they might even have three in queue.

It's official. Just submitted Q4, so I'm in for all 4 quarters this year, and in for 3 quarters at the same time.
Not sure if I should proud of that, or a little embarrassed that this opportunity worked as motivation for me. wotf001

Now that I received my rejection, I can publicly confess. I started my story with my protagonist waking up. It may not have been good enough otherwise but that didn't help. The story was written before I found out that starting a story this way is a common rookie mistake. I think I had a lot of bad language although that doesn't;t seem to be the killer it once was.

I am super excited about the prospect someone here got some good news tonight. I'll be scouring the posts carefully hoping some of you go dark. Smile

Q2. It should say which quarter it's for in either the title or the body of the e-mail.

July seems awfully late for Rs and HM results for Q2.

wotf017 I think with Dave's health scare earlier in the year, it set him back. The email does say 2nd quarter in it. Hopefully, Q3 isn't this slow. We all know Q4 won't be. It can't--because they have a book to print! lol

Best of luck to those still waiting... And those who have already (or will soon receive) their calls wotf011
