There's a BUNCH of winners in that HM list. Dang.

That was Dave's first quarter.

I got an R for a story I rewrote to Silver a few years later.

We're still at it, buddy!

Career:

1x Win
2x NW-F
2x S-F
9x S-HM
11x HM
7x R

SHMs were a new thing back then. I started entering when they used to call HMs quarter finalists. Made things a little confusing so they changed it to HM.

PERSISTENCE! 😄

I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James.

Oh man, quarter finalist does sound fancier than honorable mention.

Anyone else reading persistence as Tevya singing Tradition?

V36:Q3 HM V37: Q3 R, Q4 SHM V38: R,HM, F, HM V39: HM, SHM, SHM, SHM V40: SF, RWC, ?

@scribblesatdusk

It was a bit confusing or disheartening if you choose. Because finalists were still finalists and a quarter finalist sounds like a finalist for the quarter.

I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James.
