I have a story I just finished and would like to have it critiqued before I enter it.

Hey!

It might be useful to post approximate word count, since the contest accepts story up to 17,000 and there's a big difference between critting a 3,000 word story versus a story that skims the limit.

Also, have you considered joining in the 450 crit thread? It's a great way to get some feedback and help others without having to devote a lot of time to one piece. I like it because I don't often have a ton of time to crit, but I like to help when I can.

Thank you every one for your advice. Guess it makes it pretty obvious I am the rookie here. The actual word count 11500. I would appreciate any advice if someone has the time. I am also willing to do a swap.
