I have two 1K stories I'm trying to expand into longer stories in the 4-5K range.
One is a fantasy that I sent to two only two flash markets and got two glowing personals from, but complained of the abrupt ending and that it should be longer to flesh the true story out.
The other is a SF and I've never sent it out, but I'm in love with the idea of it, but the plot/conflict is thin.
I'm looking for advice/thoughts on both and I'm willing to trade for the first 1K of any other story (F or SF).

I should be happy to take on either or both if you wish. I have a 1500 SF that's had two no shows in UK general competitions and I wonder whether it's really as bad as the last judge told me it was! Alternatively it would be useful to see if you think the latest project has a respectable first 1000.
