Private Message formatting

Hello! Let me look into this... I will need to do some research and get back to you.

On the topic, all my direct messages seem to have disappeared. 🤔 Is this due to maintenance or something I should be concerned about?

@adrian this happened to @joe-benet, too. Not sure if he found the cause or not.

My issue was due to a forum account merger (consolidating two accounts into one).

Dear @jason the magnificent,

It might just be me, but it seems that private messages don't keep their intended formatting. For example, all the white space gets cut from between paragraphs, and lists get turned into not-lists when you send the message. Is that something that could be changed?

P.s., did David Farland name a race of fantasy creatures after your surname?

Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. I have now added the formatting in the private messages so we have space between paragraphs and the list items show up correctly.
