Any thoughts on these covers? Do either of them work? Does one work better than the other?
I commissioned these off Fiverr for $5 each. I just described the story generally and listed some of the elements present in the story (e.g. a starship, nuclear explosions, etc...), but I told the artist I didn't have anything specific in mind and to just to see what they could come up with.
Since $5 was pretty cheap, I ordered 2 covers just to have options.
They both look really good (especially for 5 bucks!) but I prefer the second one. It's crisper to me and more appealing in small size/less busy.
I like the left one. I like the dark color the bright orange and in the cloud on the right I see a laughing clown face...
