Contests Update General — 23 November 2011
The sad news broke today of the passing of our dear friend and judge of the Writers of the Future Contest, Anne McCaffrey.
We will dearly miss her. She has been a judge of the contest since she heard about it, in its second year, over 26 years ago.

I was a bookseller back in the 1980′s. Anne McCaffrey was very popular and had a huge following of readers and fans. I wasn’t away of her contribution to other writer’s through The Writer’s of the Future contest until a few years ago.
Fans and friends will miss her and fondly remember her contributions.
