An Interview with Algis Budrys  A
mong the most highly acclaimed science fiction writers, Algis Budrys is the author of such novels as Rogue Moon, Michaelmas and Hard Landing. He also has reviewed science fiction and fantasy for leading publications, and edited books and magazines, most recently Tomorrow, of which he is the founder and publisher.

In 1983, Algis served as one of the first judges for the Writers of the Future Contest and, as the contest’s Coordinating Judge, played a major role in establishing it as the most successful merit competition for new writers in the world. Additionally, he serves as the editor of the annual L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future volumes and, together with his fellow judge Dave Wolverton, teaches the Writers of the Future Workshop. Algis has recently taken on the additional duties of a literary agent and among his clients are several winners of the Writers of the Future Contest.
