Illustrators of the Future® Contest

ix years after LRH created the Writers of the Future Contest, it was joined by the companion competition LRH had envisioned—the L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future® Contest.

LRH’s intentions for the illustrator’s competition were clear. It was intended to do for new illustrators what the writers contest had done for new writers—discover new talent, acknowledge them, bring them to the attention of publishers and help launch their professional careers.

Today, both the writers’ and illustrators’ contests stand as premier competitions in their respective fields, having successfully guided a large contingent of new writers and illustrators into the professional ranks.
