Hello Everybody!

The 26th Annual Writers and Illustrators of the Future Awards celebration has started! We want you to join us for a week of workshops and activities culminating in the Awards Ceremony Saturday night, August 28, 2010, which we will be streaming live. So welcome to Hollywood, California where the action begins!

As you can see here in a few shots, the writing contest winners arrived today.

Once settled in, they all met in the Hotel Roosevelt lobby for an introduction to the Contest Director, Joni Labaqui and their workshop instructors: Tim Powers and K.D. Wentworth.

Stay tuned for tomorrow where the workshops begin and the writers are given their first assignments. Also on tomorrow's agenda is the arrival of the illustrator winners!
