The 6th Annual Awards Ceremony was held at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, 2 June 1990 in conjunction with the American Booksellers Convention. Winners from contest year 1 Oct 1988 to 30 Sep 1989 attended. Publishers Weekly Editor John W. Baker was a special guest and presented the L. Ron Hubbard Gold Award to the writer winner.
