Born on Vancouver Island, Darlene Gait was influenced by her father to appreciate and respect nature, and her mother taught her to explore her native island heritage. As she matured, her skills became more refined and she eventually pursued an education in graphic design and illustration. This allowed her the freedom to explore many new mediums.
Darlene currently works at home, creating art and free-lancing her skills as an
illustrator and designer to local businesses.
