           Jae Brim is an artist and actor, but mostly a writer, who wrote her first story in crayon at the age of six. She has been writing speculative fiction every since, as stories just don’t seem fun without magic or aliens, or both.

           She is a graduate of the Clarion Writer’s Workshop and the intensive theatre training program at the National Theatre Institute.  She also received a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College.  She is currently working on what she calls a “different kind of fantasy novel” and hopes to write many more after that.  This is her first professionally published story.

           Jae enjoys snorkeling, dancing all night and cooking gourmet dinners for her friends.  She lives in New York City with her husband, Jesse, and two very spoiled cats.
