WINNERS JOIN JUDGES AT WRITERS OF THE FUTURE BOOK SIGNING

Present and future legends in science fiction and fantasy joined forces on Sunday, August 12th for a book signing of L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future, Volume XVII at "Things from Another World" in Universal City Walk in Los Angeles.

The Writers of the Future judges included bestselling authors Larry Niven (Nebula and 4 time Hugo Award winner), Dr. Jerry Pournelle (John W. Campbell Award winner) and Tim Powers (Philip K. Dick Award winner). The Illustrators of the Future judges included Vincent Di Fate and Sergey Poyarkov, premiere illustrators in the field of science fiction and fantasy.

This year's winners of the Writers Contest in attendance included Meredith Simmons, Michele Letica, David Lowe and Jeremy Simon from the US and Steven C. Raine from Australia, together with illustrator winners Yanko Yankov from Bulgaria, Amanda Gannon from the US and Ane Galego from Canada.
